Radiologic technologist
Aug 26 2008, 5:03 PM EDT
At Penn Valley, we believe in a high-tech, yet holistic approach to health care. CT scans produce a substantial amount of cross-sectional x rays of an area of the body. Technologists with credentialing in either of these specialties will be very marketable to employers. Some radiology technicians may specialize to become an MRI technician, nuclear medicine technologist or CT technologist. After completion of any of these programs, the graduate technologist would sit for their board exam. The middle 50 percent earned between $39,840 and $57,940. Some sonographers and MRI technologists are not radiologic technologists.
